Traveling back to Xiaolan
I got up at about 630AM today and grabbed my remaining things. Josh took me down to the taxi guy and I said goodbye to him and Hahn. I got in the taxi and spent 2 hours travelling to the airport. There were a few strange things that happened. The first was while we were coming up on a check point, he stopped to pick up some random lady that wanted a ride thru the checkpoint and was gonna pay him 5 or 10 RMB. We got stopped at the checkpoint and the lady jabbered at the security guard for a bit and then we were let thru. The driver dropped her off about 200 meters away. After she left, he turned at looked at me like he didn't know what the hell was going on, so we both laughed a bit. The other odd thing was when the driver asked me for the money before he got to the airport. I had no idea why. I called Mountain and he told Mountain that it was because the police may cause him trouble if I pay hi at the airport. This is all shady. I made sure he was near the airport and that I could see it in case he tried jipping me. This is the guy that made Paige pay him more money before he got to the airport.
i got to the airport and had to spend about 2 hours sitting around. I finally got onto the airplane. I had to wait another 2 hours on the airplane. Once I got to Guangzhou at 115pm i got my bags and caught a bus to the next bus station around 150pm. i got to the other bus station then got another bus at 3pm. I finally got to Xiaolan around 5pm. Yumi was already there. She was in Shenzhen but got back at 430pm.
What a long day.
