Thursday nite to Guangzhou.
Well, most of the day I just spent preparing for the wedding. I went to the gym, got stuff together and watched some of The 36th Chamber of Shaolin in chinese. I understood about 10% of the language they were saying. I didint watch all of it...just some.
I went to the bus station at about 6pm and Yumi and I got tix for 625pm to the station that Ben told us to go to. The bus station that he told us to go to was on the East side of Guangzhou, whcih is the farthest from Xiaolan. Took 2.5 hours, but about 1.5 hours to hit the Guanzhou area. We finally got to the bus station and I called Ben. He couldn't come to get me because he was really busy. He talked to some of the taxi people and found out we were at a different bus statoin. Looks like the bus cut us short. So we took a taxi there. Ben met up with us and took us to the hotel, then to his apartment. And then he walked us down to get some food. He went off to do some things.
After dinnre, Yumi came back to th ehotel and I went to meet with Ben and his two American friends. Seth and Will. Well, will came to the US when he was like 9 or 10. They were roomates together at UCLA.
We spent some time just hanging out and chatting. it was nice. Seth is in China just travelling and not having any plans about it. Just going where he's going. I would like to do that, but I was raised to make sure I have a plan about things. Kinda frusttrating in China when you can't make definite plans.
Well, time for bed. I got a long day tomorrow.
