Whipping Boy.

Today was my easy day again. I got everyone in the house to fill out that stupid information sheet. 3rd Grade this morning was pretty good. I threw one kid out for giving me the finger and I had another kid stand in front of the class because he gave me the pinky finger...which is the chinese equivalent. And yes, most these kids know that they are both the same. During lunch I went to the gym as I should. I got all stretched out and ready to run for 1 hour when the place experienced one of those Random Chinese power losses. The school gets them all the time. This place always loses power...I mean Xiaolan always experiences these random power outs. Sometimes whole blocks will lose power. Lack of proper organizing and inefficiency.
So I headed home.
After, the 5th grades went ok. These are some of the best classes. They participate well. Ivy has them trained well. I kicked another kid out for the finger from the first class. During the break between classes I was chatting with the art teacher as we were walking down the stairs and I witnessed one of the teachers cane a 4th grader. I so wanted to do the Arnold Schwarzeneggar on him....from Kindergarten Cop. But the kid didn't seem effected by it at all. The whole class laughed at it...I am thinking it may have been a play wack. Not intended to punish him. I don't know. I just briefly caught it. Strange.
After that I came home to prepare for Kindergarten. I had the 2-4 year olds today. I taught them Happy, Excited, Sad, Angry, Love, Tired again. Its great cause I can get them to act them out and sing a song with them. They like it. Most of them have, "My name is...." down. I still got a couple stragglers. Some of them are so damn cute though.
I then went to teach Daisy for an hour. That went ok. I couldn't stay for Chinese lessons because I promised Coco I would come over for dinner. Her nephew and Mother were in town for the week and her Mom apparently makes good bau-tze. Coco had written directions for me to give to a motorbike guy. She called me about 10 minutes before I left Daisy's house to ask me when I was coming over. This proved to be very difficult because I tried to explain it to her at two different times today. She said, "What time will you come over?" I said, "Between 630pm and 700pm." She took this to mean that I will only be able to stay at her house for 30 minutes. I spent at least 5 minutes each time trying to explain it to her and it was the same over the fone, but she just couldn't understand. Very frustrating. I even drew a diagram. She told me to wait by the gas station.
So i pull up at about 645pm underneath her apartment complex. There is a car dealership that carries Mitsubishi, Honda, and BMW. I was looking for a Z4, but didn't find any. Phooey. I want to sit in one. I called Coco. No answer. 20 minutes and 10 fone calls and 1 text message later, she picks up the fone. "Where are you?"
I am outside.
"Why?"
Because you haven't let me in. I have been standing out her for 20 minutes trying to call you.
"Hold on................................................................................................................What?"
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!! I am out by the gas station waiting for you!
"Ok."
I had to wait forever for her to come down. So, I called her again and she was waiting at the gate. UGH! I am across the street from the gas station. I saw her walk out from the corner down the block, then I watched her walk across the street to the gas station and I was like FRIGGIN' A! I yelled her name out and she saw me. Kevin was with her and he ran towards me and jumped on me. Wow. He was excited to see me. He wouldn't let go of my hand. Adorable. He is 4. He is super light so I put him in the fireman's carry and tickled him to death as we were walking down the street.
Getting to her apartment from the street took about 10 minutes. Had to walk up a ramp, thru some cars, then down a hall, then up stairs.
I met her mom, her brother, and her dog, "Morry". Michelle was still at school. She wouldn't be back until 930pm when Coco would go pick her up. Chinese people go to school too much. So we ate dinner together. They were feeding Morry from the table. Giving him table scraps and stuff. It was just funny. Kevin was hyper at the dinner table. He is a single child too. He likes to yell as well. Dinner was quite good. I had a snack at Daisy's place before coming over, but I had some of her mom's bau-tze. It was alright. The breading was much more dense and the meat inside had bone. I was like, ouch. The dinner was good. Coco's mom asked me, "Why are you so big, yet you eat so little?" I was all like, "the real question is why are you so small, yet you eat so damn much. Answer me that! I have never seen anyone eat more food than Chinese people." They all lauged. Damn asian-gene. After wards I ate fruit while I watched a video on Crazy Li Yang. He is this chinese guy who is famous for creating Crazy English. A method of teaching English to Chinese People that make them speak. The way he does it is to make students shout..amongst other things. He does lectures and everyone in the audience participates. You know, I do this exact same thing, there is nothing new to this method, its just htat my studnets don't partcipate or try. They are too young to care. Oh well.
We were having fruit and I was treated to a tropical fruit. We call in Stinky Fruit in English because it smells like Ass. Most peoepl I have talked to dont like it. However, this was my first time. Its about the size of a round watermelon. Its got spikes all over it. You take a butcher's knife and hack it down the center. You crack it open and there is the seed encased in a the fruit part that you eat. its got this funky texture. Its like a firm stringy pudding. You can't eat it with hands or with a spoon. Very interesting. I like it. However, your breath stinks afterwards. But the strange thing is, the actual part you eat doesnt stink. Its odd.
After that, Kevin was given a bath by the brother and I played with Morry for awhile, then after Kevin it was Morry's turn so I played with Kevin. Then, Coco took me home around 930 when she went to go get her daughter. I went out to search for a present for Daisy's bday dinner tomorrow. She has kept buggin me for Minnie Mouse that Yumi gave me the idea of buying a pet mouse and naming it Minnie and giving it to her. However, the pet store that I know of doesn't sell mice. I searched for a VCD, but couldn't find any that wasn't a mix of Disney and a few other cartoons. I got that VCD set and then I also plan to get her a Minnie Mouse doll.
After I headed home I got a haircut. They cut it real short. Megan just looked at it and said my face looks very long. "Thanks for calling me a horse. Way to make me feel bad. Do you want to take this outside. You wanna go?"
Time for bed. Later.
