The pitter patter of little feet.
Oh. This is something I forgot to mention in today's journal entry. I thought I would make a seperate one for this because its kinda important.
So, there I sat doing something on my computer today and getting ready for Guzhen tonite. Peter is chatting with me next to the computer. He then said this....
"Yeah, so, Echo went to the doctor's today to get checked out. She tested positive...................
for a baby. Echo's pregnant." JEEZ MAN! What's with the dramatic pause. As he said, "Tested positive" followed with the dramatic pause, I froze and turned my whole body to look at him. I had a look of fear in my eyes. I thought he was gonna say "HIV". He scared the crap outta me for a second. He then said "Baby". Man was I sorta relieved.
"Yeah, she woke up this morning puking her guts out." What a lovely thought. Thanks for sharing.
"We are gonna have it run again to be sure, but the doctor's pretty darn sure of it." Wow...so I guess this means....wow...you gonna be a dad. Wow. Thats weird. Well, best of luck to you. Peter loves kids, he enjoys kindergarten and lower grade classes and kids love him so its possible he will be a great dad. I was like, "so...when you guys gonna get married." Here in China...its not like in the States....if you get pregnant, its "You're getting married." There is no "if"s, "and"s, or "but"s about it. Luckily they have been planning on getting married and her family loves him. So thats a positive. I asked if they have set a date and he said in maybe in May. I was like, well, I gots a great present for ya...besides the DVD.
That was something interesting that happened today. Wow.
