Good-bye Suzannah and Sean. :-(

Coming down from an altered state is a hard thing to do...
Tonite was a blast.
First off, I spent most of the day as a vegetable. Around 5pm I called some Apple Sellers in Hong Kong trying to figure out where to take my iPod to get the battery replaced. Actually, what they do is they replace it with a used/refurbished/new one of the same model, one that would be just as good as new. I still think that is the only downside of the iPod. Since tonite are the going away festivities for Sean and Suzannah, I called around to see what everyone was up to. Sean told me to meet at the Longshan gong ryen Beer Gardens at 830pm. I got there at 9pm and no one was around. So I called some people. Apparently, Sean fell asleep and the girls didn’t know what was going on. Figures. So I was told to head over to Sunday Bar where Jolene, Ash, and a couple other Chinese were already there. I walked over. After about 15 minutes or so, Sean, Suzannah, Yumi, Rumi showed up. We had a good time.
Yumi and Rumi had gotten these little booklets to have us write little happy things in to allow Sean and Suzannah to have good memories of us. Surprisingly Sean gave me a present. He had bought The Prodigy’s new album, “Always Outnumber Never Outgunned” a while back and prolly got his use out of it. He gave it to me. Kool. Thanks yo.
One of the weird things that happened was on the stereo system. After the dance remix of “Heaven is a Place on Earth”, it started playing Wolfsheim. I was super surprised. Why is Wolfsheim being played in China? I can’t believe this. It was really cool.
I haven’t been drinking much at all in the past month, so my tolerance was really low. Of course, I drank a bit too much. About 30 minutes before we left, I realized I needed lots of tea. So I went psychitsoid on the tea. By the time we were leaving, I was feeling a bit better. It was good that we walked around to other places. We went to that dance club that we had gone to for John’s send off and the Guzhen Karaoke parties. The music was turned off. It was only 1AM. Reluctantly they put the music back on and we had the floor all to ourselves. I danced on the pole. It was hilarious. I noticed off in the corner, on one of the fluorescent wall paintings (so they show up under blacklight), there was an image of Boba Fett shooting a laser beem into the mouth of a skeleton warrior. Why they had Boba Fett doing such a thing is beyond me. Oh well. The music ended around 2AM and they were playing some “cool-down” music. It was the Chinese version of “Silent Night”. It was in Cantonese and I doubt its got the same meaning. Bizarre people the Chinese. Bizarre. I went home and got some rest.
