Salicious Sunday Driving
I had sunday morning classes in Guzhen. Classes were great as usual. The kids were enjoying it and stuff. The recess was great because they were throwing this monkey around...a stuffed monkey that is. I started throwing it with them. We were playing 5000, that game were you call out a number and the person who catches it gets the points. Whoever gets to 5000 first wins. The monkey then got stuck in a tree. A kid got it out by shaking the tree...since the tree was small. But then the monkey got stuck in the big palm tree which took us about 5 minutes to retrieve it. All the kids were trying to throw a ball to hit it. I never saw so many kids get joy out of trying to knock a monkey out of a tree. Chinese kids are different than american kids. When was the last time you say American kids trying to knock a monkey out of a tree and having that much fun...outside of the Detroit Zoo I mean.
Suzannah was MIA today. Her, Sean, and Leiana never made it to the party, so I imagine she is still sick. She still has that kidney issue going on. So, Mountain asked Toby to take another class, he said sure. That meant when i was done I could either wait for an hour to get a taxi home with them or take a motor bike or bus. So, I decided by bus. But as I walked to the main street, there were no buses. So I sat for about 5 minutes waiting until a motorbike showed up. It was a long motorbike ride and riding thru this area and traffic filled my lungs with wretchedness. The one downside to motorbikes, you get the pollution of traffic more than when you are confined in a car.
The guy took me to the Big Bus Station, so I had to get another motorbike back home. I finally got home and helped clean up. I then had class agian at 3pm.
Violet attended this class as well. So there were Peter, Jack, Daisy, and Violet. The class went well. I made an obstacle course used to help them practice LEFT, RIGHT, FORWARD, BACKWARD with. I made them close their eyes and I would shout out commands. It was good. Violet was to afraid to do it though. It was a good class.
Afterward, I hit up KFC for the hell of it. It was crowded. There were a couple of my 6th grade students there who acknowledge my presence, but wouldn't talk to me or allow me to sit with them. Thats it, you guys are getting bad marks from me. I was sitting by myself again. There was this 5 year old boy staring at me with his "Dead to the World" Chinese eyes. He looked like a zombie. I want to eat your brain. Then an 8 year old girl, who was bigger than the 2 6th graders stopped by and talked to me for a few minutes. I was impressed. I then headed home where I felt the worst of the day. I took some medicine and hit the sack at 9pm after I uploaded a bunch of fotos. Good nite.
