Government Run Tuesdays
So today was the day the government came to stay...at our school. First off, I get to school waiting for my class to start. The bell never rings. I ask Anna, why hasn't the bell rung and why are there no morning exercises today? "Oh, they switched. Right now is the first class and they will do morning exercises second. Because the government is here. Did you have the first lesson? Oh, you did? Oh...well, yeah. So, you don't have first lesson."
Nice. Thanks for the heads up on that one. I could have slept in or done a bunch of other stuff. Instead, I am sitting here at the school wasting time. Ugh. Class sucked. The kids just wouldn't pay attention.
Went home for lunch and wrapped some stuff and put some ornaments up.
Class in the afternoon was no better than in the morning.
Kindergarten was canceled so that was good. I headed home and took care of some stuff.
I then headed out to Lion Dance practice. I got there, and figured out that practice tonite was canceled. Great. So I had to ride the bike all the way home. Not a big deal. I got back to the house and put the finishing touches on the tree. John and Jolleen showed up because they were in the area. Apparently Jolleen is stressed out about going to Guzhen to be the boss and she is taking it out on John. Oh well.
I am going to bed.
