Cold Tuesday

Its about 11 degrees celsius, which isn't too cold compared to back home, but its a bit chilly. Also, when its hot for 10 months out of the year and you get used to that. When it drops this low, it feels cold.
Lets see what to talk about...
Oh, chinese retail shops.
So I asked Amy awhile ago why she doesnt get a job in Xiaolan to get more money for her and Moses. She just stays around and cooks for Moses. Watches TV and what not. Moses is teaching during the day, Moses is 65. Amy is 25. "Why don't you get a job around here?"
Apparently she said she didn't want to in Xiaolan because people here have wierd scheduals. They work all day long, but they don't do anything. They are stuck in the little shop with nothing but a TV. They look all zoned out.
So, what's better: Spend 12 hours in a little shop with a little TV standing around with nothing to do totally zombiefied because no Chinese people buy things and make some few RMB out of it? Or not get a job, not get paid, and cook for your fiance and be able to go wherever anytime you want... And then have bible study classes given to you by your fiance.
YOU TELL ME!
I applied to a bunch of jobs online. There were a few I was really interested in. Ones that I would really like. Hopefully the people recognize the skills that I have. Suckas.
Ooh, right before I headed to bed I got a reply to one of the jobs that I was really interested in. It was a place called Bebe Sport Education Center. They teach english but do it with music, gymnastics, and dance. They are located in Shanghai and Beijing and it seemed really interesting. So i pulled all the stops with the coverletter and resume. Highlighted all my dancing, music, and martial arts education and how I use some of it with my kids now. THey sent me a reply right before I went to bed that said, "Please let us know how soon you can move to Shanghai." SWEET! now, I just need to get more information on it. That would be super sweet. And the posting claimed that the pay was really good. I will keep you updated on that.
Also, Peter completed his first DVD. He was impressed with all the ones I made and thought it was a kool thing so the past month he has spent learning thru trial and error (since its the only way to learn DVD editing, because nothing is ever as easy as they claim) He finally made his firts DVD. He spent lots of time on it. It was a piano recital of one of his private lesson students. He was trying to edit out playing mistakes n such and re-syncing all the video which is an uber pain.
