Pain in the lower back.
Classes today were fine. The only big thing worth writing about is how I hurt my back.
I went to the gym...my normal routine. I was stretching out after warming up on the bike. I was holding my positions for a while and then moving slightly passed it to try and increase my range.I was doing really good, except during the one where you spread you legs and touch the ground, I must have pushed to far because my lower back was a bit sore when i stood back up. So, I was careful about it.
Throughout the day I was massaging it and rubbing it, trying to help it out. But then in Kindergarten, about 10 minutes after I started, I was going around crouched down shaking hands and asking children questions, and all of a sudden I felt a tug or snap or ripped in my lower back then terrible pain. OW! I was able to stand up. It hurt, I was able to bend, and it hurt...it hurt the most to bend backwards. But I could barely move my upper body or it would hurt. Right when it happened one of the Enforcers saw the look on my face. So I had Owen do stuff for me like pull out the table and physcial labor stuff. Man this hurt. Walking seemed to help but just a bit. Owen asked if I was alright and I told him I hurt myself.
I continued teaching, I just didn't do anything that would hurt. I was doing competitions with the kids on number recognition, 1-30 and they were enjoying it. However, while I asked for one girl to come up, the girl sitting next to her jumped up and grabbed my crotch. So i put her in the corner and after laughing at me, the Enforcer scolded the little girl.
Not five minutes later, another little girl decided to take her shirt off and run around the room. Man. What is up with these kids. The enforcer took care of this one.
Instead of me playing Head, Shoulders,Knees, and Toes with the kids, I used one of the kids as a model. I would point at the parts and have the kids touch their own. It was humorous. The teachers were giggling.
I then headed home. I pretty much spent the evening laying down and not moving.
Around 9pm I took a bath in one of the tubs at the house. I had to fill it up with the shower head. I couldn't use the faucets on the bath...i had to use the shower head. Thats chinese construction for you. So it took awhile to fill up enuff so I could submerge my lower back. I think it helped a bit. Hopefully tomorrow its better. I may try to see a chinese doctor...who knows what will happen.
