-me

Ok. So I am typing this a day later. But I will type it as if I typed it last nite...without the drunkness.....
I just got back from a late nite dinner with the older crew of the Lion and Dragon Dance Troup. I think most of these guys were doing the Dragon. These are the guys that I think do the actual performances. I don't think any of the Lion Dancers are here. Well, none of the guys that do the pedistal lion dancing.
What happened was this. I went to practice this evening and worked my patoot off with the new forms and stuff the head coach showed me. I was drenched in sweat. Thats a good thing. As I was about to head out, the head coach called me and made a motion for eating. Then he motioned that a bunch of people were going out to eat. So i was like...sweet. They must really think I am stupid because it took about 10 people to keep telling me and motioning me to follow this one person. :D Just teasing. They were just trying to be helpful. So i followed this guy. We were on bikes and then some people on motorbikes caught up with us. I followed these people thru back streets and alleys. I had no clue where I was.
We got to this clearing and there was a resutrant. We got some tables together and sat around. About 20 of us were there. We all sat around chatting. Well, they all chatted and I sat there quietly and I really only spoke when the girl with english spoke to me. There was some funny things. I started singing, "Siu Lam Gung Fu Seng" and they loved it. All of us were older folks except for the head coach's son. He is about 9 and he is like, super skinny. I mean, he's skinny by chinese standards...very skinny. So, what do you think they call him? Fei Lo (Fat Man). He would go get the beer. He would run into the shop and come running out holding 2 bottles of beer bigger than his head. It was very humorus. I tried to explain to the girl that in the States, if you are under 18, its illegal to serve alcohol and illegal to drink under 21. Her eyes widened and she was surprised. That's freedom for you.
So, after we hung out for awhile and ate and drank, they asked if I knew how to get home. Nope. Not at all. I told them where I lived and they told me to follow so and so home. I got my bearings and then I was all good to ride home myself.
Riding a bike while tipsy is very interesting. You ride like you walk. Awkward and stumbly. I made it home safely and went to bed. Ahhh. What a nice nite.

As for the rest of my day, things went fine. Nothing huge to report.
