Everyday is Halloween...well, wouldn't it be radical if that were true?
Ok. Time for a long day. Got up and headed to the Xiaolan Office to get paid. Then, Peter, John, and I headed out to run errands for the nite. First we went to the KFC Mall, which has the computer stores on floor two. We headed to the third floor for the huge stationary shop. John was looking for poster paint so he could go as the Monkey King. HE picked up his yellow suit last nite. Check out the pictures. Pretty funny.
The paint wasn't very good so we took off. They also have some instruments there that i was jamming on. Just rocking out. \m/,
From there we headed towards the gym, but Peter wanted to stop and check the DVD shop. After we wasted some time there, we walked down to the gym area. Across the street there is a little shop owned by a Hong Kong woman that had a little bit of Halloween stuff. We basically bought half of what they had. A couple spiders, the webbing, some hanging lanterns, some light up skulls, and this skeleton thats motion activated that we placed on the entering door. Man, it was great. It scare the hell out of so many people. We would hear the door buzzer go off. We would then hit the door key to let them in, the walk in, slam the door and the skeleton wouold go off. Thats when we would hear the scream. MWHA HA HA HA!
So, while Peter and John were looking for supplies, I was in the sport shop buying some new boxing gloves for the gym's heavy bag, a sword, and some costume supplies. I had two costume ideas.
1. Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies, but I couldnt' find a bald cap to modify, so I was looking for swim caps.
2. With the swim cap, i had a back up. I would go as the newest member of the Chinese Women's Swim Team.
But, with the lack of materials, I had to give up on Pinhead. Its a shame. So I went with #2.
From there we ran up to the gym to see if I could get a 4 month membership, but they only offered 3 or 6 months and since I had no chinese friend to help negotiate, i took off.
From there, we walked down to the kool DVD store where I bought Freddy VS Jason for the party to play in the background with the sound off.
Then we headed to the bamboo shop to buy a staff for John, cause the Monkey King has a red staff. Luckily, we found some bamboo wrapped with red shrink wrap. SO I bought one and so did he, they were only 1 kwai. Really cheap. While we were walking to find other stuff, Peter saw the scooter store. And since he just got paid, he decided to buy a new toy for 800 kwai. This banana yellow scooter rocks! Its small but it goes! Its a blast to ride. I can pop wheelies on it. I will get a foto and post it. With all our shopping taken care of, we headed back to the house. Man, we were already tired. But then we realized we needed some more stuff.
We went out to 1+1 and got some food. Bought a storage box for bobbing for apples. Then walked down the street to the liqour store and bought some Vodka and also went to a decal store where I found a chinese flag for my costume and Peter found some stickers for his new pimp ride. Oh, the word "decal"...well, the Canadians just stress the "e", not the "a" & the "e" like they are supposed to.
Stupid idiots.
Now, we headed home and John went back to his place to rest.
I spent the rest of the day cleaning, hanging decorations, putting my outfit together, and doing some computer work. Man, I was tired. But the party re-invigorated me.
People started arriving around 8pm. I threw on my undersized women's bathing suit, so it was uber-tight. I threw the chinese flag onto my chest, grabbed my swim cap and goggles and towel. I was wearing shorts...for the first half of the party. Around midnite...they came off along with an addition of a strategically placed carrot prothesis and i ran around shouting Happy Halloween. It got lots of laughs and a couple screams. Coco's scream was by far the best. Its on the Video, unfortuately, i got no fotos, but Yumi and Rumi both took fotos. I need to get it from them. Very funny. After awhile, Suzannah told me to put the shorts back on, because she kept looking and she was getting to excited, so I went and changed into my Shorinji Kempo gi. People liked that one too. Jolleen liked it better.
Not much to say other than that except that everyone had a good time. People were dancing and there was a lot of people. There was a couple middle schoolers there for some reason, students of one of the teachers along with a couple kids. Coco's costume rocked and she brought her daughter dressed up and I didn;t know who it was until the end of the party. I thought it was Anna for awhile, but then i realized it wasn't Anna, and I could tell who it was. But whoever it was had some awesome rainbow colored leg warmers.
The party ended after we did some bobbing for apples. Sean, John, Rumi, Yumi, and a couple others headed out to Cowboy and I proceeded to hangout in the bathroom for about an hour while I got sick. I proceeded to pass out on my bed around 130 or 2 am. It was a great nite. The reason I got sick was because Sean gave me some wine after I stopped drinkin. I dunno why I took it, but I did, and I paid for it. Ugh. Well, goodnite.

Oops... I posted my comment twice. Can you erase the top one through MT? The address is wrong on it... While you're at it, just erase this one too... Let's conceal my mistake! LOL (That was a very Japanese thing to say!)
